hahaha.. Well, we were getting it on in a pile of sweaters... Wait, no...
My parents and brother came down to visit for us the first time, and we were giving them a tour of the house. The master bedroom is the last room. Standing in the bedroom, my dad goes, "what's through that door?".
J: ".....the clooooset...."
Dad: "nu - uh"
J: "Yup, just a closet."
Dad: "No way. That can't be a closet!! I thought the stairs are right below there!"
J: "Dad... there's another bedroom between here and the stairs.. and when the frick did you start caring so much about closets?? Look, I'll prove it to you --"
So I opened the closet door, and inside was a sign that said "Jen, I love you. Will you marry me?" Confused, I turned around wearing my WTF-face, and DH was on one knee.
He had wanted to do it when we picked them up at the airport and had this big thing planned for them to bring a bottle of champagne and then I'd ask what it was for... ... ... except the day before they flew in, the whole terrorist/no-liquids thing went down. lol
