Mother's Day
What are you all doing?
Is it bad that I don't want to do anything??? The month of April was absolutely crazy for us with trips, Easter, and birthday celebrations. I just want to do NOTHING! My mom kinda feels the same way, but I know DH's mom would flip if we didnt see her.
DH thinks everyone (immediate family) should come here so we don't have to go to my parents' and MIL's house all in one day. While that is great, who is going to clean my house and cook for everyone? Ugh!
Oh and to top it off, the babies are sick and so am I

You are right. I took your advice and flat out said I wanted him to make a reservation at one of the restaurants within walking distance of our house. He did and that's done. That wasn't so hard...
I sent my mom a really nice sangria pitcher and book of recipes. I just don't know what to buy the woman anymore.
DD and I will be celebrating with brunch or lunch with my sister and her family. It will be a while before DD understands and can "do something" for me.
I miss so much on here these days...but are things cool now between H and his parents?! I thought things were weird, and his dad was texting you, right? To get H to talk to him?
Erica - don't you teach classes at USF? Teachers get into the aquarium for free. Although I don't know all the rules but you just show your pay stub. Maybe colleges count, too?

I know last time I went I got like 15% off to go but Im not sure what it is now. I might try and see what happens...
Lol, yeah the same problems still exist but it's Mother's Day so we still like to do something nice for his mom, who doesn't cause as many problems as his dad, haha. It will be somewhat awkward, as his dad never apologized to me about the texts, but it's easier to just let that go. He's so irrational so I would be silly to bring that up with him, he wouldn't even be able to discuss it normally with me. We'll just have a nice meal and talk about non-threatening topics, like weddings we're attending and happy things

H hasn't mentioned anything to me, but I know he got me gifts because I found his hiding spot.
It was a total accident...one of the presents was peeking out and I just happened to see it (which is very unlike me, lol!). I'm so excited about my first Mother's day! I never would've thought last Mother's Day thet this would be my first one! 
H made a dvd with the videos we shot of Zoe on our Bloggie for our moms. I can't believe how much she has changed since she was born!
