    I think it is, or at least in the same family.  It's called an Althea tree.

    We didn't have time to exchange gifts this morning because we both slept in till the last possible minute, but yes today is our annivesary.  Thank you :)  4 yrs.

    lol...I promise I don't really have any skills.  Unless you count that this was the prettiest flowering tree they had available, but that isn't a skill.  What I really wanted was a Saucer Magnolia.  The guy at the nursery said he hasn't had those in stock for 3 yrs.  Crying  So I settled, but it's still pretty.

    Oh wait, they had the Weeping Cherry which is gorgeous, but they wanted $60 and I only wanted to spend $25.  Maybe next year.

  • Nice!  We have one that I noticed growing at the back of our yard.  We didn't plant it, I'm assuming it's an offspring from our next door neighbor.
