Hey there -
I've always wanted to go to that farmers market. How is it - are there a lot of farmers? I can't remember - is it Saturdays only?
Is it crazy busy/crowded? I like to bring G, so the really crowded ones deter me.

I go to the Scituate farmers' market as my "home" market in the summer. It's a pretty good size, Saturday mornings only (I think it ends around 1:00), and not usually too crowded. Friends of ours bring their kids all the time, and the one farm often has a goat there that kids can feed and pet, so that's kind of fun for them too.
It doesn't really pick up in full swing until it's really harvest time, so July or so. In the beginning of the summer, when it first opens, there just isn't a lot of local produce ready, so it's more meats, breads, plants and canned stuff.

like pp said, it is not that crazy and fun for the kids...except when Cordelia wasn't listening and touched the cactus and then clapped her hands together..that was NOT fun. She has not forgot that and always stops and says to herself "Don't touch!" lol
It starts the weekend before Memorial Day this year from 9-12, if I remember the ad in the paper last week.
