I think you said you've hiked parts of the SHT. What are the backcountry latrine's like?
We haven't made plans for our first trip in oh...3 weeks. We're such indecisive procrastinators.

I've never posted a pic in a post before and am kind of unsure how to do it, so hopefully the above worked...
This is a pic I took on our first SHT trip. This latrine (most of the latrines look like this) was at a campsite on the SHT somewhere between Temperance River and Lutsen- don't remember exactly where. The latrines are usually set 100 or so feet from the campsite on a designated 'Latrine' trail. They usually try and place them around a curve in the trail or behind some brush so they can't be seen from camp. You can dispose of TP or wipes in the latrine, no other trash though.
