where can I get curtains...

This may sound like a stupid question, but we need curtains for our sliding glass window, I just want a nice white plain one. The window is 8ft X 6ft. I called JCP, which just frustrated me since the largest size they have is 7ft tall. not helpful, but I don't want to spend a fortune =)

    Our sliding glass door has a really long curtain rod and a bunch of small panels all along it.  I may be confused though, the window is 8 ft tall but only 6 ft wide?  Looks like BBB has the same issue, they only go to 84 inches.  What about making your own?  You can make curtains without even sewing.  You may also think about a cafe curtain which would start part way down the window.  When I googled 96 curtain, I did get some options (even at overstock), so there are some out there.

    I did check jcp online, and I soooo dont want to fork out the dough for custom sizes

    Did you try Burlington Coat Factory?  They usually have a ton of house stuff and I found they have a wide and random selection of curtains.  Nice thing is not too expensive either.
