Cinco De Mayo is one of those days . . .
Where I get just a little bit jealous of all the people who don't have kids when I see all the FB statuses about everyone going out tonight. Not that I am a big party girls or anything but it would be nice to have the option to go out once in a while. I always feel kinda bad about feeling that way but I can't help it.
With that being said, do we have a GTG in the works? I need a drink!
Re: Cinco De Mayo is one of those days . . .
I agree, as selfish as it sounds. I would love to be going out tonight. And if stbx weren't OOT for work, I would be - tonight is his DD night. I feel like I've been married to a stick in the mud long enough and am dying for an active social life.
If all goes well tomorrow, I am hitting up 4 Green Fields tomorrow after work, if anyone wants to go.
I am def. not a party girl, but I really enjoy the GTGs that we do. It is nice to be able to get away, even for just a few hours. And I can't wait until I can have a drink
I have never celebrated cinco, or gasparilla. I hate being around large groups and I hate being around large groups of drunk people even more!
Maybe out sticks in the mud were related... I have no social life after being with him for 8 years
IKWYM. In the past two years since I have gotten pregnant I haven't once gone out. Well not without Macy. I *think* my H and I are going to go out tomorrow night. And to a bar. Without the baby (you know because I live in Texas and most bars you CAN bring your baby).
We are working on getting a baby sitter and I am looking forward to a much needed night out!

I love my crazy child!
My Bio
Haha. Sometimes I try to sneak in the bathroom and close the door before she can get in. That never goes over well because she bangs on the door and yells "mama, mama, mama, bye bye, mama, bye bye". Or she just starts crying.
Ahh, I enjoy my "after baby's bedtime potty breaks". It's nice to pee in peace! And if I could pee in peace at a bar, even better
