Can we be birthday party buddies! Ha, I am having Morgan's party on June 18th, ours is going to be at a park and I will be praying for good weather!

Sounds good!! We are also having ours at a park. Funny, I reserved the shelter back in February thinking "Oh, I've got tons of time!!!" now...not so much, yet I haven't done a whole lot other than get the invites (which I still need to print!)
I have a basic idea of what we're going to serve but DH keeps nagging me about the menu. I feel like invites = step #1 in a party. Once I get those mailed out I'll start focusing on other details. Haha.
Ha, I thought the same thing when we reserved the park, my H actually said why are we reserving this so early! I was suprised at how fast the parks in my area filled up! We didn't even get our first choice.
The only thing I have started is my guest list! I am so far behind, I thought I had decided on a theme, but now I am double guessing myself and I might pick something else.
Step 1 is the invites! I agree, I must decide this weekend so I can order them and get them out!!
I happened to look at the park's website back in February and 6/18 was the ONLY date they had available all summer long (for the specific shelter we wanted at least - it's near the beach).
I keep playing around with the guest list too, but think we finally have it narrowed down. Now the real tricky part will be finding time to print and address the invites.
Butting in to give moral support and tell you that June 18th is still weeks away, so you shouldn't stress out. You've got lots of time.
Andra - Let me know if you need help with anything. Seriously. I'll even help you with the invites if you want.
