Are you a fan of traditional names or modern?

Re: baby names
I want to do family names, although the girl first name I have picked is getting more attention now, boo!
Wives Unscripted
Short traditional names. Unfortunately the ones that seem to be the most popular.
My girls list is:
Emma
Olivia
Grace
Anna
I guess that, for the most part, I'm a fan of traditional names. Drew seems to like a more tradional name too. Naming a child ought to be real fun with him. He's pretty indecisive. I have my heart set on a girl name that is sorta popular, but absolutely no clue on a boy name. I'd like to name a boy after my dad, but I don't know.

Traditional. And like Alicia, I like short ones. Ava, Emma, Kate...
I looooved Emma until it exploded b/c of Ross and Rachel! And I was SET on Olivia and then my bff had her daughter and named her Olivia. We had never discussed names and she said if I had told her she wouldn't have picked it. I said, don't be silly b/c who knows if I'll ever have a girl and lo and behold, I didn't!
And my hypothetical daughter was always going to have the middle name Charlotte after my grandmother.

both
however, i believe strongly in family significance for middle names (when naming my own children). it doesn't have to be the exact name, but it somehow tying together is how we chose zoey's middle name.
