Making Progress

Dh has agreed to go to a Intro to Cloth Diapering workshop at the Diaper Lab next weekend. He isn't on-board at all... but he's at least willing to learn about it. I'm very proud of him to at least attend and if he's still turned off by it, then at least he went and learned.

His close friend told him that they had horible experiences and that the baby always leaked and he got constant rashes-- I want to say they barely used CDs.

Re: Making Progress

  • I'm glad he's gonna learn about them!  DH didn't care really...was, and is, as long as he doesnt have to do poop or wash then he's fine with them.  But he doesnt always get out of it...sometimes she has a massive one in the am for him! lol

  • I wish my DH would be on board with the cost of diapers going up but no luck yet!

  • Awesome! I told DH we're using cloth diapers. He doesn't really want to, but I'm not using regular diapers, end of story...and being as I've been in misery for the first few weeks of pregnancy, I figure I can hold that over his head when it comes to getting my way about things like diapers. I'm such an awesome wife. hahahaha

I told my mother this weekend we're using cloth diapers, and she rolled her eyes and said "no, you're not"   grrrr. Can't tell you how much that irritates me!

  • DH reluctantly agreed to try CD.  If he hated them, we wouldn't do it.  By day 3 he was hooked. Yesterday out hot water was out and I had to wash the diapers.  I told DH we could just do sposies if we couldn't wash.  He said..."No I don't want to. I'll see who I can get to come and fix it asap.  And he did!"  DH noted how nice LO's tush is with the CDs compared to sposies.

  • DH was on board... its MIL that is the PITA... she refuses to use them, so she buys her own diapers... which is fine with me, but a little annoying since it is a "waste" of a good cover(I can't reuse it when they get home because it sits with the peed on cover all day), and sometimes she changes them while they are still dry into a sposie...
