I don't post here often, but thought I would this time in hopes someone might be interested.
I get emails from a pet rescue in the area and got one tonight about a handful of dogs that will be euthanized this week if a home/foster home is not found. I know this is not an uncommon situation, and all rescues need more foster homes. For those of you that work with rescues- I hope I am not stepping on any toes here! I hear the stories all the time but when there is a name and description of the dog attached it makes is harder to ignore! This is the list of dogs that will be euthanized this week if no home is found, in case you know anyone interested:
- Ricardo (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) a tiny 3 legged 8 month old
- Rosie (Chesapeake mix) 8-10 years old
- 7-9 month male Pit Bull mix, very quiet with a nice temperament
- (Rottweiller/Shepherd mix) Male, about 1 year old
- (Pomeranian) Neutered male 5-7 year old
- Carl (Shepherd-Pit Mix) Puppy
I don't work with the rescue but if you are interested PM me and I will pass on the info. Otherwise just look up Underdog Rescue. I have a two dog limit where I live otherwise I would love to foster one of them! Thanks!
