  • I saw you mention in another post about your new little squirrely, but I didn't get any details.   When did you adopt him/her?  What's his/her name?  What did the other pets think?  :)

  • He's interesting... we got him from a friend of a friend who made a bad decision in getting him from a breeder, he's about 4 months old.  The kids suggested Nico as a name, and he likes Rob best so far.  Apparently they "bond" with people.  He eats produce, and whatever pasta and protein we have like cooked chicken... google says they can eat whatever a toddler would eat lol.  So far his favorites are applesauce, strawberries, grapes, carrots, peanut butter, and pasta.  Oh Hayden let him try a plain pancake too and he liked it.

The other animals are interested but don't go crazy over him or anything.  He isn't scared of any of them, and the only one I keep an eye on is Lillie because she was an outdoor cat before I got her so she has a high prey drive and isn't declawed.  Belle (the gray one in my siggie) likes him the best, she cleans him, and he jumps on her back and everything, and she couldn't hurt him even if she tried... she has no teeth!

He sleeps until about 8pm, and if anybody wakes him up early he makes a really scary locust-like sound. But he's never bit anybody or freaked out.  He barks too lol, sounds like a squeaky toy.  Going to get him neutered, but I don't know when it can be done and Dr. Orosz' office isn't returning my calls.  He's... interesting!
