As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

How do I fix my avatar?
I lost it somehow so I just re-uploaded the pic and it's showing when I go to my bio but not when I post. Help! I am sick of being a random Nest cartoon.

Since the last set of Nest changes, tickers, avatars, and such seem to decide at random whether they'll work. If it's showing in your bio then you've probably done all the right things--now it probably just depends on how the site's mood today, unfortunately!
ETA: Did you click on the "Edit my avatar and sig" link at the upper left?
