Non-clicky Poll: How old were your parents when you were born?
Today is my dad's birthday. He's turning 50. Everyone I work with is shocked at this (most of my coworkers are older than dad). My sister and I are 28. I have young parents, what can I say? (mom is 55).
To make this an easier comparison, how old were your parents when you were born?
My dad was 21, mom was 26. Twin and I are the only children.

My dad turned 24 the day after I was born (he's turning 59 this fall).
Most people believe that my mom has 2 kids that are 29 but are usually shocked when she says she has a 34 year old daughter. No-one thinks she's old enough to have me and not have had me while in high school. My mom likes to tell people she was 12 when she had me.
My mom was 23 and my dad was 26.

TTC since 1/2010 - Dx with Stage IV Endo
11/10 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

My mom was 23 when she got married and I was 23 when I got married. She was 25 when she had me, so I was hoping to be 25 when I had my first too. It was a sad day when I turned 26 and wasn't even pregnant yet. If this IVF works, my due date should be right around my 27th birthday.
