Mommies and Mommies to be: Mederma

H bought me the new Mederma for stretch marks a few weeks ago because he knew I was upset about my stomach. Well I wanted to say that after only a few weeks I already see a difference. It says it takes 12 weeks for the best results so I still have a ways to go.

So if anyone is looking for something I like this product so far and think it worth the 40$ price tag. It of course won't get rid of them but so far it has helped make them smoother and lighter.

  • Nice! When in your pregnancy did you develop stretch marks? I'm trying to figure out when I'll get them. My mom never got them so she's no help!

My mom never got them also so I was holding out hope I wouldn't but in my last month I started to see them and when my stomach went down after having her is when you could really see them.

Boo! Well, I'll be anxious to see what happens in my last month.
  • Good to know! I've used regular Mederma on scars before and it worked great.

KHart - stretchmarks are genetic. If your mom didn't get them, chances are you won't either. It doesn't always work this way, but more often than not it does.

Really? I always thought it had to do with the elasticity of your skin. Huh? hmmm, learn something new every day.

I didnt get mine until the last two weeks- they look pretty good at this point, but I plan to use Mederma just in case they dont want to go away on their own.
