This week has pissed me off. I'm so glad it's the freakin' weekend.
Today/tonight: cleaning the house, cleaning the deck, relaxing. Probably watching a movie when DH gets home from work.
Tomorrow: DH is taking my car for the emissions test (please pass, please pass!) and i'm going to sleep in. We have absolutely nothing planned and it feels wonderful. We'll probably sit on the deck, hopefully it'll be nice, and have some cocktails and just relax.
Sunday: more relaxing. If my car doesn't pass the emissions test, we'll probably go shopping for a new car for me (it's 10 years old - and not passing the emissions test will be the straw that breaks the camels back.)

TTC #2: BFP 12/17/11, m/c 1/7/12 and D&C 1/12/12
baby blog/cooking blog

today/tonight: cleaning, job hunting, and a dentist appointment. date night to see thor with the hub.
tomorrow: sleeping in, any last minute tidying, then kicking DH out for the evening so bff & i can have a girls' night in sleepover - making cocktails, pizza, and watching movies the husbands would hate.
sunday: lounging around with DH & bff, will probably make a round of breakfast cocktails then brunch at bar pilar.
happy mother's day to all the moms!
sorry t&c
thinking of you
Tonight: DH is probably leaving work early because he's sick. We'll make dinner then probably just hang out at home tonight.
Tomorrow: We might be going to a 'Siete de Mayo' party, but we're definitely going for cheap beers at our favorite place.
Sunday: I wanted to go to our favorite winery for a picnic lunch, but that will be weather dependent. We might just do it at home.
Somewhere in there I need to clean a bit, read a book to discuss with my students next week, do school paperwork and some travel research. Also finally get my sweaters put away and skirts/dresses/shorts out.
My Food Blog
oh, T&C, I'm so sorry.
John's leaving today for a weekend long camping/fishing (or what I call torture) trip at Big Bend in WV.
Me - tonight, dinner at Hooked with a girlfriend I don't see nearly enough of, then... sleep, glorious sleep.
Tomorrow, spa morning with my daughter, then Something Borrowed. Then she goes to work and my son and I meet for early-bird dinner, which he's putting up with since he has a drinkfest going on that night and needs to carb up first. Not bc he loves or misses me.
Sunday, I leave for a week in New Orleans (work). Happy Figity Mother's Day.
Someone keep notes on all the haps next week bc I won't be able to get online much and lord knows, I needs my gossip.
"What is a week-end?"
Tonight: A few errands, dinner at home and maybe Thor.
Tomorrow: Derby Party at a friend's house.
Sunday: MIL is coming over for a Mother Day dinner.
Tonight - nothing. Rest up for tomorrow?
Saturday - Week two of Mommy & Me yoga. Please, G-d, let T at least attempt to follow along for a few minutes so I'm not running damage control the whole time. Last week was the least relaxing yoga experience EVER! Then the Flower Mart at the Cathedral. I've never been, so hopefully we will have fun.
Sunday - Skype my parents, help install a car seat in FIL's car, then I don't know what. DH wants to have FIL watch T for a few hours while we do something, but I don't know what we'll do other than go to BJs :P
So sorry to hear that tomandcourt!
Our weekend:
Tonight - Drive to DE.
Tomorrow - Cousin's bridal shower and dinner with friends, hopefully some spring shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth in between.
Sunday - Mother's Day brunch with my family, drive home, Mother's Day dinner with DH's family.
Baby248 - ETA 1/10/13
Tonight: HVAC person coming to give estimate on new system, relaxing with DH
Tomorrow: Run with our running group (with babies in the BOB) and then errands and house stuff, cooking one of our Let's Dish meals with DH, netflix
Sunday: Hoping DH gives me a few hours of "me" time to go shoe shopping while he watches the babies, and then probably having ILs over for a cookout in the late afternoon/evening. I'm also hoping DH was able to find some skinnygirl margarita mix someplace b/c I've been dying to try it and Mother's Day seems like the perfect excuse.
tomandcourt- I'm sorry to hear that. T&P to you and your family.
Tonight- nothing planned, just make dinner and hang out at home.
Tomorrow- Tennis with a friend in the morning, then going to tour the EU embassies with said friend. I'm so excited- I've actually never seen any of the embassies other than the Austrian, which I didn't get to tour or anything.
Sunday- Church, grocery shopping, hopefully cleaning, and seeing a friend's condo that we're interested in possibly moving into later in the summer. I wish my parents lived closer... it sucks not seeing my mom on Mother's Day.
Planning Bio
I"m so sorry. I hope you get some last good moments and memories.
Our weekend plans are probably shot because it looks like C has bronchitis. Hopefully, by Sunday we can get out and about to either Boordy Winery or the Sheep and Wool Festival (I think C would loooove all the sheep and dogs).
Tonight: work HH followed up by hanging out at home and reading the manual for my new DSLR
Tomorrow: DS's 1st parent/teacher conf. (should be entertaining, since he's only 2), preschool cleanup day, plant flowers, and go to DSLR workshop (which is why I need to at least learn how to turn the camera on tonight)
Sun.: church, teach Sun. School, brunch, and DH is grilling something for dinner
Actually not looking forward to tonight:
Tonight: Going to a friends house for a greek/mederiterian themed dinner - DH said yes even though we were just over there last weekend for a "spring roll" themed dinner - honestly I jsut want to spend tonight in front of the t.v.
Tomorrow - dog is going to the groomers, while she's gone I get to clean my house - it's easier to do this when she's not around so I can wash her bedding, her toys, get all the hairballs up etc.
Tomorrow night: hopefully DH and I are going to the movies - we haven't had a date night in almost 2 months
Sunday - if it's nice I want to get outdoors and cut the grass and try to do some landscape work
Today: Regular day off work - running errands mostly and getting ready to go away for a few days. Otto is recording tonight but if my brother and fam or anyone else goes to Herndon's first Friday Night Live (hooray!!!!), I'll walk down there to meet them for a bit.
Saturday: Up early for a flight to New Orleans!!! Staying with friends. We also went to see them in Dec. 09 so no pressure to do the typical touristy stuff. Main reason we're going is because they're expecting in June and Otto will be finishing up some recording with the hubby and taking him out for some last bits of debauchery.
Sunday: Main event: Jazzfest! One of Otto's favorite bands, The Radiators, is performing as one of their last gigs ever before retiring so he's thrilled. They're fun - looking forward to good (probably drunken) dancing!
Monday/Tuesday: More fun in NOLA with no agenda. Yay!
TMI BOTB Addendum: After two long cycles of super-slow follicles, this time they're ready earlier than expected, which means we can't do our third IUI - just timed intercourse while we're away. Please send good thoughts for a New Orleans conception!
dmuppet- sending lots of good vibes your way!!
Tonight- maybe some shopping after work, and then dinner at BIL/SIL's house
Sat- possibly grocery store, then hitting up the Embassy Open houses. We had lots of fun this year doing it so I'm looking forward to it again. DH thinks he can spare a few hours away from work so I'm happy he'll be coming! Who knows what's going on in the evening.
Sun- run errands if didn't do on Saturday, hopefully go on a run, relax
Drunken sex in NOLA may just be the ticket! Sorry I'm not going to get to see you in another city (but how much fun would it be, if we could?) but ... make good use of the open container laws!
"What is a week-end?"
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
{{hugs}}. that is certainly not a fun way to spend mother's day weekend! (or any weekend for that matter)
Tonight: who knows...
Sat: donating blood in the morning, probably going to buy H's next stroller in the afternoon, then doing some cleaning.
Sun: again, who knows...we usually would go to my parent's house for dinner to celebrate mother's day but no one has mentioned it this year. it's my first mother's day but i'm sure DH has nothing planned. (Case in point, I'm buying my own gift from etsy today). If he does nothing else, I want him to install our new kitchen faucet and get me Indian food that I've been craving for weeks.
T&C - sorry about your grandpa. Hope you get at least a bit of Mother's Day time with your little one!
dmuppet - GL with the NOLA conception!
Our plans:
Tonight: Nada. DH works weeknights now, so we never get to do anything on Fridays I'll probably catch up on "my" shows on the DVR or maybe read. I should also work on a few job applications.
Tomorrow: Take all our moving boxes to the community recycling day, since we have way to many to leave them out w/ the regular recycling. Get a few things done around the house. Go buy a vacuum cleaner. Maybe check out the arts festival that's going on - we can't afford to buy anything just now, but we want to look around and see what local artists we like, so we can look in to buying some of their work later. It will also be a good chance to explore some of the shops downtown.
Sunday: Call our moms for Mother's Day, go to the festival if we don't make it on Saturday. DH needs to sand a dresser so I can paint it next week sometime.
