TGIF!! This weekend could not come fast enough. What is everybody up to? Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas and expectant mamas!
Tomorrow was supposed to be my half marathon, but because I was sick for so long I missed the most important weeks of training and decided it's better not to go. I'm pretty disappointed but will try and start running again tomorrow anyway, there will be other races.
No real solid plans though. I told Matt we are going on a Mother's Day mission tonight to get cards and stuff for our moms and his son's mom - we are such an exciting bunch!!
Also, random, but I don't think I'm FB friends with any Maine nesties except BBE. Is everybody on here friends? If any of you want to add an internet friend shoot me a PM!
Re: FRIDAY!!!
Jacki - I was actually going to stalk you today and find you on FB. I'm sure I can find you pretty easy since Seth and Matt are friends. Look for a request from me!!
Tonight - The three of us are going out to eat. Not sure if we will go to Panera or to the Liberal Cup. Probably Panera.
Tomorrow: The dude and I will probably go out and run errands. Maybe get some groceries. I think he is able to sit in the cart now...maybe with a blanket on each side. He is sitting up really well! Maybe he and I will go visit Grammie.
Sunday - MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I've asked to spend the day with the dudes. I want to go for a walk. Take pictures with my new lens. And eat. I am so excited (did I say that already????)
Tonight: Quiet night. Leftovers for dinner, a strength training routine, and some Tivo catch-up on TV. I think I will also take the kids for a walk. We haven't been able to do that for a little while because of the weather.
Tomorrow: Not much planned. Ridley has gymnastics in the morning and an event I was supposed to attend got canceled for the afternoon. We will probably do our grocery shopping so that we don't have to do it on Sunday. I also have some coupons for JCPenney that I would like to use.
Sunday: Starbucks in the morning and then some lounging around followed by a late afternoon dinner at Salt Water Grille in South Portland with my sister and her family. I am looking forward to it.
YAY Friday!
H and I are heading down to CT for M-Day - my sisters and I are putting together a little lunch for the extended fam on Sunday. Should be relatively low-key and fun.
The weekend will be nice, but I'm actually looking forward to next week because I get to hang out with Interro!!!!!!! woo!
Thank you Baby Jesus for a sunny Friday!
Today/Tonight: work (boss' birthday luncheon!), running a couple errands then home to get ready for my Mum's visit this weekend! Probably a mellow night- a little dinner, maybe some movies and chilling out.
Tomorrow: Attempting again to take her on a helicopter ride around the island (we were rained out last visit), then doing some girly baby shopping and getting ideas for the upcoming shower. My alma mater has their big lacrosse game as well, so we'll be streaming that while we enjoy lobster rolls, and then down to a friend's to watch the derby in our big ol' hats.
Sunday: Mother's Day brunch @ Zelda's and probably a walkabout town, maybe a cruise around Ocean Drive with the windows down before she has to head back North.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!!!
Tonight - helping MH finish his packing and then relaxing with a movie or season 3 of The Wire.
Tomorrow - lounging about until I have to take MH to the airport. He's going to Sweden for two weeks. Sniff sniff. Once I'm back home, make a meal for my friend's freezer (she's due in a week), then go over to her house to see the new nursery and have dinner.
Sunday - go to Trader Joe's, clean the house and then relax. I'll be calling my mom, of course.
Today/Tonight - going to the park with DD and I'm thinking maybe tonight we'll hit Big Daddy's for some ice ceram
Tomorrow - hoping to go to May Day as our family Mother's Day activity, but not sure if the weather will hold up.
Sunday - well we all know we're going to that darned BBQ
Not sure what/if we are doing something Sunday morning etc. at this point. DH and I haven't talked about it since the "chicken" incident. I do know that he is sleeping on the couch with the baby monitor so I don't wake up at all
Tonight, I think I'm dragging DH to Buy Buy Baby to look at cribs again. He's thrilled.
Tomorrow- MS Walk with my patients & clinic staff. PRAYING it doesn't rain because I will not walk in the rain (last time I did, I ended up with pneumonia).
Sunday- Mother's Day-- heading to my parents house for it.
HAPPY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Working today then not sure. My BIL just moved in with us so we may take him out to dinner then just hang out.
Tomorrow In the morning DH and I HAVE to get to the post office to get our passports done for our trip to Aruba in Sept. Then spending time with my mom and nieces, maybe doing a little shopping for some new clothes for my new job.:)
Sunday-Brunch with my mom then off to DH's parents house for a BBQ both for Mother's day.
Interro-Sending you a PM!
ETA: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL MOMS!
You must go to the Cup!! They don't necessarily have a large selection but they are all hand crafted. I think they usually have about 6 on tap. I met Seth there back in 2005 when he was a drunk!
I'm working from home today because my mom was sick and couldn't watch Marcus. I'm trying to wrap everything up before my vacation next week, and have got a lot done so far, so that's good. After Marcus' nap, we're going into the office for a little bit - my coworkers were making up reasons I needed to come in so they could have a little visit with him
I've got a few things I need to finish up there, so it works out.
Tomorrow we're going to a first birthday party for a little bit, and then Marcus is going to Grandma's in the afternoon. We fly out early Sunday for our four nights in the Bahamas! I'm a little sad I won't see my boy on Mother's day and a little anxious about leaving him, but mostly just excited, excited, excited.
Happy Mother's Day to all you mommas, especially those of you celebrating your first one!!!
I may not survive today with my children (a toddler poop explosion + immediate bath and an infant throw up/screaming fit all before 9am)...and I'm supposed to work two hours today and finish cleaning my house...but if I do survive, tonight I'll be finishing up bills and whatever else doesn't get done while MH is at work. My folks are coming up this weekend, and should arrive tonight around 9 or 10. Hopefully by then I will have finished all my chores and will be sitting on the sofa with a glass of wine and Thursday night's Tivo-d shows.
Tomorrow: going to Barbara Brousal concert (our music class teacher who used to tour with Dan Zanes). No plans for the evening; maybe my mom will cook!
Sunday: not sure about the A.M. other than sleeping in; my sister and BIL are hosting a Mom's Day dinner around 5 or so.
At some point this weekend I will be planting a bunch of perennials in my front yard.
I think many of us are FB friends. I'll send you a PM!
Tonight- Softball game against our rivals Auburn. So far my girls have done well and are 2-1 so we hope to keep that momentum up.
Tomorrow- Childless for the day (she is going with my MIL). Going to my best friends baby shower and then going to watch Monmouth/St. Dom's softball to hopefully pick up so tips from my old coach.
?Sunday- Mother's Day...haven't made any set plans yet. Probably go to dinner with the family.?
I'm hoping that there's some ice-cream stand visitation in my future for tonight. I'm also planning to throw open the windows and get the winter-dog-smell out of my house.
Tomorrow, I have big plans to get a chest freezer (!), then we need to start tearing out carpet so that the hubs can install our shiny new wood flooring (!!), which will further help to get the winter-dog-smell out of my house.
We also have approximately 800,507,423,001 house-related projects we need to get done before we open camp, so I'll prolly try to tackle some of those while the floor installation gets started.
I'm tired just thinking about all of this!
::butting in:: I second this (well, except for the part about meeting Seth drunk, I met him there for the first time sober
)!!!
The Cup is awesome- their crafted beers are super tasty, and I can't wait to go up this summer and have my first post-baby pint (uhm, Brianne- playdate perhaps???). Their food is also incredibly tasty, and they run a lot of great specials. I would commit morally questionable acts for one of their fish sandwiches.

Haha
Ok I am sold on it...will have to go ASAP.
Amen!! This has been a hellish week! DH is working all weekend, so that isn't very fun, but any break is good.
Tonight- Was able to go for a run by myself after school, which is always so much nicer than pushing the 30lb child in the 25lb stroller. Eli has a cold, didn't nap well today and was being super cranky, so he was in bed at 6. After DH comes home my dad is coming over to babysit (the only solo babysitting he'll do is when Eli's asleep!) we are going out for a quick dinner and to do some errands including geting Eli some birthday gifts.
Tomorrow- Working! SAT day for all juniors in Maine. No plans in the afternoon. Maybe just grocery shopping or a bike ride with Eli.
Sunday- Slight chance DH will be able to get the day off, but otherwise just a low key day with the little guy including a bike ride if it doesn't happen tomorrow, visiting my grandmother and going out to eat with my parents.
Ok its Saturday, but I am jumping in anyway....
Today is the boys birthday party at 3 so I am frosting cupcakes and doing some last minute stuff... my college roommate came in last night for the weekend so we are hanging out and then after the boys party ILs are watching the boys and we are going out to dinner with Casey (roommate) and DHs best friend to ask them to be the boys' godparents
Tomorrow... I am not sure, the boys are spending the night at ILs house so sleeping and then maybe breakfast out with Casey and Adrian? Not sure....
