Tan in a Can

Have you ever had good luck with any of those lotions you use for a gradual tan?  I'd like to try one out but I don't want to keep testing different ones.

Re: Tan in a Can

  • Where's Pooks? She knows.

The only one I've ever used it Jergens Healthy Glow. It worked prettty well.

  • I've had the best luck with Neutrogena and Jergens. Neutrogena lasts longer but Jergens was easier to put on.

ETA: I've also tried Coppertone and Banana Boat and they both turned me orange. So did one other drug store brand but I can't remember the name of it.

  • Jergens gave me hives.  I hated it.

I really like my Clinique stuff, it's kind of expensive, but since my Jergens experience I was nervous and I've never had any issues with Clinique so I tried it.

  • Oh, and if you've never used it before, make sure to put it on evenly!! One of the first times I tried it, I just swiped some on my leg (not realizing that you more or less had to blend it) and ended up with an fake tan streak on my leg for 3-4 days.

  • I was using one a few seasons ago that was awesome, but now I can't remember if it was Jergens or possibly Loreal? I will recognize it if I see it. I'm going to target, I will let you know if my memory gets jogged in the lotion aisle.

  • I like the Jergen's Natural Glow, it blends in easily and doesn't look orange.

  • Sorry I really dislike the gradual tan ones, I jump right in to the instants and use a nice mix of sally hansen, neutrogena, and L'Oreal.

My sister loves them though. GL!

I also like the Clinique stuff, I don't use it all the time so the bottle lasts me awhile.

    This.

Does it sweat off though?  I used one (Avone Brand) and it worked well but the first time that I went to the gym I had white sweat streaks all over.
