Very upset -VENT
So I wasn't happy at my job, and was looking but you know the old saying that you don't leave a job till you have a job, well I just got F***ed BIG time...They Fired me...Or let me go seeing i was still in training.
I'm very upset by this, Yeah i wasn't happy but i WAS trying to make it work and learn the stuff... I don't know what I'm going to do now...crap

What happened (if you feel up to talking about it)?
My SIL got me the job at this company she's working with, it's Selling cell phones there like the stores in the mall. so I was little iffy on it in the first place I have never done anything like that, nor am I a pushy person. so they had me train or lack of cause there training is really lame so you don't really learn anything from it, and sent me to the store i was to work at.
I was there for about a month, and the DM came in to the store and said lets role play I'll be a customer and you try to sell me. so this went on for about 30 min and then the store got PACKED...and this lady came in I went and greeted her and asked if i could help her with anything she said in VERY broken English no just looking. so i backed off my store mgr was saying something to me so i walked over there to see what it was. The DM came up and GRAB my arm and said come on your going to watch me take care of her... which she did a HORRIBLE job at the lady told her the same thing she told me and when the dm keep pushing at her she just turned and walked out. So me being me I said see I don't want to be the pushy sales person.
So she took me in to the office and told me that she didn't think this job was for me. 1st thing out of her mouth, I was like wow thanks for the pep talk. so she went on and on about how i'm like a turtle some says no i climb back in to my shell. After about 20 mins of her going on on about that she said well we can work on getting you better.
So a week passes and shes back at the store again talking to me, about how my numbers arent good. i'm not selling well...it's only 6 days in to the month. and that here district is down and so on...and that I'm not making my phone calls. The phone calls are to customers to see how there doing/need any thing else. I don't have any customers i tell her, she comes back with Don't you have any friends you could call and see if they want a new phone or something...i told her the 10 calls i made a few days ago were everyone in my phone book. she had the nerve to tell me i need to make more friends then. To top it off she tells me that cause i didn't make the calls then they would have to write me up for it and cause i'm so new the next write up would be me getting fired, to think it over i could leave on good terms or leave cuase they fired me. I told her i'm trying to make this work, so she okay will write you up.
So i leave the office and it's about 2:40 so i thought hey i'll take my lunch...so i clocked out and went out to my car and called mike to tell him what B-word she was being. A few min later i hear the back door to the store open and she looking for me. asks me to come back in for a min, to which i said i'm on my lunch. She comes back with it will only take a min. ok so i'm back in the office now, she tells me We going to let you go we need the keys back and your name tag, and you can bring the shirts back later.
That's how I've always viewed it. And in situations like that sometimes it's better to just work for a larger company....with a good HR department.....

Wow! Although it sucks to be unemployed... the job sounded more of a nightmare than anything!! Are you able to collect unemployment?
I'm going to try to collect unemployment, I can't see why they wouldn't give it to me they did Fire me...its not like i walked out and said f-this place lol.
I've been putting in applications like crazy all over the place, even before they fired me, and still nothing it's very discouraging with they the economy the way it is.
