HR Folks - A Resume Question
Hello!
I was asked to look over some resumes of recent college grads as a favor to a collegue. One girl has that she was elected as Homecoming Queen of her college listed. Is this appropriate to list on a resume? My first thought was to tell her to remove it, but I wanted some other opinions first. I really couldn't find too much on the internet.
Thanks!
Re: HR Folks - A Resume Question
Ask her how it is relevant to the jobs she's applying for - if she has a valid reason I'd like to hear what it is. If there no reason to have it on there, then remove it. Honestly, I would tell her to remove it. Stuff like that doesn't belong on a resume.
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
This is what I was thinking. I told her that it is a great accomplishment, but I would remove it because it isn't relevant.
Thank you all for your insight!
