Shutterfly?

Have you ordered from Shutterfly before? Did you like the finished product?

What is the album made of? (I'm thinking of doing a leather bound photo album as part of our anniversary present.)

Was there a similar website that you liked better?

TIA!

Re: Shutterfly?

  • I have not used shutterfly but have seen stuff from shutterfly and it was excellent. I have used walmart for albums and was really happy with the end product.

  • I use shutterfly a lot and I've always been pleased with the result. You can do hard cover, leather bound, cloth bound, or you can choose soft cover and all in various sizes. It just depends on how much you want to spend. It's always been great quality and shipped quickly as well. There are coupon codes floating around a lot so google "shutterfly coupon codes" before you purchase.

  • I've used Shutterfly, and liked the end products.  For my wedding album, I used mypublisher, and was also very happy with the result.
  • PPH Shutterfly!  I've been using them for a long time.

I did a leather bound book for our guest book at our wedding.  It had a hole cut out of the front to show a pic of us and then of course the rest were all pics and people could sign all over.

I did one for our wedding album instead of the photographer and saved a ton and then did just a hardback for our trip to Europe and they gave me a free one so I did a quick one of my pregnancy for Ava.

I plan on doing one for each year she was born too.

They are really nice quality and if you have photos that the pixels aren't enough it will tell you the picture may not turn out that great.

  • Yes, I've ordered pictures, picture cards, and a photo book.  The photobook was a hard back one and it came out wonderful! There is a website called Arts Cow that MIL has used but I think the Shutterfly site has much better quality books
