I don't know if our cat is messier than average but he's certainly causing me some headaches.
It seems that our laundry room is constantly filled with litter, hair, and dry cat food. When we feed him soft food in the kitchen he somehow manages to get gravy and pieces all over the floor. And his hair is SO difficult to clean up. It seems that no amount of sweeping and vacuuming is ever enough (not to mention hair that somehow gets stuck to our stove and other appliances). He's a black cat, too, so his hair on the white linoleum and carpets is very noticeable.
Any recommendations for a good routine for keeping up with him? Or any good products, especially for keeping up with hair clumps? Thanks!

Have you tried the Furminator brush? If he makes a mess with soft food, only give him dry?
No I haven't, I'll definitely check out that brush. Thanks!

Also, the Scotch fur fighter is amazing for cleaning upholstery of cat hair.
I also have an air purifier that i keep running, which seems to suck in a LOT Of the cat hair into the filter.
