Help us get to Charlotte, NC?
Hi Ladies,
It's been a while since I've posted here, but DH and I are from Raleigh NC. We are currently in Athens, GA where he is finishing up his second to last semester in grad school at UGA. We desperately want to get back to NC and preferably to the Charlotte are. We've had a bit of bad luck the last few months as far as him finding an internship which he needs to complete his degree.
Do any of you have any kind of connection with any kind of sports team (collegiate or professional) in the Charlotte area that you'd be willing to help us with? Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated. We are kind of in panic mode as our lease ends here at the end of July and we have no other set plans as of yet.

(Also, he is completely aware that most internships are unpaid. We would just be thankful for any kind of opportunity.)

Have you tried posting on the city-data Charlotte board? they get a lot of people with answers and connections and it might be worth a try. Good luck!
