As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

West Urbandale residents heads up...
Both of my next door neighbors were broken into last night. The neighbors to our right accidentally left their garage door open and all of their bikes, kids scooters, the lady's purse (which was in her unlocked car) and a few other items were stolen. To our left, his car was broken into (also unlocked). This really freaks me out and I know that I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight. I just don't get how people can walk right up to and IN people's homes, garages, cars while they are HOME and take things. It just really scares me. I am a super light sleeper and our bedroom windows face the garage that was broken into and I didn't hear a thing. Neither did our dog who is notorious for hearing a pin drop and breaking into a howling fit.
It was a good reminder to us to double check all the locks, car doors, garage door etc each night for sure. Just wanted to give you all a heads up.

Not that it matters, but what do you consider 'West Urbandale'?
I think we're awfully west, but technically AH is Urbandale too which makes her suuuper west compared to me.
I hope it was a fluke. I always worry too...
