My grandma is not doing very well. She broke her hip and was placed in a nursing home/hospital recently. She is refusing to eat and take her pain medication and is asking everyone to just let her die. She also thinks the nursing home is temporary until her hip gets better and she can go home, but her doctors think she needs to stay because she needs the medical care. She takes out her IV and her doctors are hesitant to put in a feeding tube because they think it will be really hard on her. They also say that dementia is causing her to lash out. Everyone is just hoping that she can be in peace and pain free soon.
