Big Bang Theory
Does any else watch? What are your thoughts on Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik)?
Personally, I LOVE her. I think she has totally stolen the show.

I love her on the show. My favorite episode (I haven't seen the show in a few weeks) was the one where they were testing the 'word of mouth' theory and she knocked on Penny's door and said something like "Sheldon and I had coitus. Also I am thinking of getting orthodics. Mum's the word!"
And then at the end of the show when she knocked again on Penny's door and said (guessing on the exact words) "I'm carrying Sheldon's baby. Also I am thinking of starting an herb garden. Mum's the word!"
It's pretty much the only show we always watch. Even HIMYM sometimes gets skipped these days because I can't stand Ted. (Marshall and Lily and Robin are fine, and of course Barney rocks, but yeah...main character sucks)
I loved Blossom, and I love Mayim Bialic as Amy Farrah Fowler. And huge ditto's to Jade, those two lines in that episode cracked me up. She's so very strange, but I think they've made her sort of loveable.
I think the thing about that show is that I know people like all the characters. My college has a big robotics and computer science program and attracts tons of awesome uber-nerds who would fit right in on that show.

We watch and DVR (just in case we miss something) it's one of the funniest out there IMO.
I love her charachter, I love all the other one's too. I hope that they do keep a good balance with keeping all the other characters relevant too though, I think each one adds a certain type of humor to the show and it works well together.
I love her!! I only started watching this season, cuz DH really likes it. At first I was skeptical, but now I love it! More than the Office, even, and way more than HIMYM (which I also started watching this season b/c of DH, but eh).
Amy is definitely my favorite character. I can't get over how she can deliver her lines so seriously and without laughing! I hope she stays on the show forever
Sorry for jumping in on the B-more board... I'm usually a lurker here, but I saw this post and I had to say hi.
I love this show! I grew up in MD, but I now live in Boston and have several friends from MIT who could easily fit in on the show. AFF is not my favorite character, but she does have some good lines. I just think Sheldon is one of the best character's on TV right now.
