Mother's Day
So what did everybody do for Mother's Day today?
This afternoon, DH and I went over to my parents' house to eat lunch with them and hang out in the beautiful weather we're finally getting today. I took my puppy Zeke over to play with my parents' dog, Gemma, and they went swimming in the lake. He is so tired that he's passed out on the couch now!
This evening we are going out to dinner with my in-laws to a place of MIL's choice. I have so much grading to do before tomorrow, so we can't stay too long, but it should be fun.
Re: Mother's Day
We had my parents, brother, and his gf over for a nice brunch. My bros dog came over too so she tuckered out Ru. I cooked a huge brunch; french toast casserole, crustless quiche, country fried potatoes, bacon and fruit salad. We also had Milk punch which is a milky boubony drink, so yummy!
MIL had to work today so we are going over to IL house tonight at 7. I'm not sure what we'll be up to, probably just hanging out.
