moms with kids: what did daddy do for you for mothers day?

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Re: moms with kids: what did daddy do for you for mothers day?
They gave me cards and she colored a mommy picture for me. they got me a new gold chain for my pendents. they took me out to dinner both friday and saturday nights. I got to sleep in both days this weekend too. I didn't change a single diaper today either.
DH got the grass cut this weekend too.
But my favorite gift was a picture frame with DS pic and an u/s pic of baby girl with "Worlds Best Mom"... The best part is he wrote "Noah" and "Elise"... We have been going back and forth on names... I have always loved and wanted Elise but DH wanted to think about it... I was fine with that, I want him to love her name too. So the frame was a huge surprised that he made up his mind and made it official : )
We also went to my brothers house... The men cooked (grilled out filet mignon) with all the fixings.. My brother, husband and Dad. For my SIL, me and my Mom. It was a great day ; )
T, I love that name. One of my besties is an Elyse. I like it with the "i" though too.
pretty name, Traycee! it reminds be of Family Ties (the mom's name). pretty!
So, as many of you saw on FB, H graduated yesterday. it was definitely a great accomplishment...mostly bc he made a promise to me when we were married (before that even!) that he'd finish. and he did! with honors! and a double major! it was a long, hard road. i've felt very much like a single parent a lot of the time and i now he appreciates my support.
while i was SUPER happy to see H graduate, there wasn't a whole lot of actual mothers day stuff that went down. it was mostly a day to celebrate my husband. haha oh well! i entertained at our house and made lunch for everyone. H did the dishes though, that was nice. last year i was on a work trip for Mother Day and this year it was his graduation. maybe next year i'll have a day for me
ha!
i did get to see a movie with my mom. that was nice.
congrats to your h! i didn't see it on FB because i'm hardly ever on anymore. well think of it as an awesome present that was a long time in the making!
I got my flowers on Friday. H made a card for me from K, it was cute.
Yesterday I got breakfast in bed, and then when H got home he had some more flowers and a card. He made dinner, then got out our foot spa thing and I soaked my feet and then he rubbed lotion on them.
Plus we watched the Red Wings win!!
Overall, a very nice day!
