Lost pictures/Bells Palsy

Backstory : DH's aunt and his grandmother were our first visitors a couple of days after Caroline came home. It was also the first time we had a "family" picture of the three of us, besides a super blurry one in the hospital. This was the day that I thought I was starting to stroke again and after they left we rushed back to MMC. For those that remember, it turned out to be Bells Palsy. Tonight, after his aunt had told me she deleted them DH's uncle found them on his computer! I had never seen the pictures so it was crazy to see them over a year later. What was really crazy was seeing the Bell's Palsy. I wouldn't let people take pictures of me, especially that side of my face. Seems like a life time ago and I'm glad these pictures survived. It's not pretty, but I'm actually glad that that was captured in a weird way.

Plus, I'm just happy to have that picture of the three of us. Wow, what a year!

  • What a treat!!!

I know what you mean about being glad that someone took pics even though you refused.  I didn't want any maternity shots...because I thought I looked like a hephalump.  But my BFF took some and gave them to me a week after Adrian was born.  I was so happy, I cried.  And I hung them up.  Who would have guessed?

  • Yeah, his aunt said she had deleted the lot b/c she didn't like the way she looked. I could care less, especially with Caroline. These are as much her pictures. Totally a lost treasure found, so happy
