Who has the Graco Lauren crib?

I'd love to hear about it because when we went to BRU it was bolted to the wall so I couldn't get an idea of weight or anything. Would you recommend it? Thanks!

Re: Who has the Graco Lauren crib?

  • I have it!  I went with it after good recommendations here.

I got mine through Target.  It's set up in his room, but we're not using it yet.  It seems sturdy and was a great price and great quality for that price - I see no need to spend more.

Cool! I know shaking it in the store isn't a good test of durability as it's a floor model, but the rails bent when we pulled on it. Is it more sturdy in real life?

  • It must be, although I have not pulled or shaken mine.  Stick out tongue

DH assembled ours knowing his son would be sleeping in it, I'm sure the floor models aren't so carefully put together.

Oh they aren't! It's so hard to judge... And then they bolted it to the ground! I know a few ladies here have it so I trust you all. I spent way too much time looking at cribs and am sick of it.

  • We have one and are very happy with it! I have nothing bad to say about it :)

  • This is what we have and Evie has been sleeping in it for 6 months so far with no problems. It is sturdy but light enough to move around whole cleaning. I am happy with it.

Sweet, thanks ladies! Walmart is having a super sale on them right now (FYI, csaucier, in case you want to stock up on a second one Wink)
  • I don't know if it has improved since we got it, but I hate it right now... It was fine as a crib, but now that we have "converted" it... it is really shaky, when I pull on it the whole thing wiggles...

I don't feel like it has held up the way a crib should, the stain scratched so easily, I didn't like way it dropsided (before the recall) then it got recalled for the dropside and we got the fix and it was fine, but now I hate how wobbly it is... I can't wait till we get back from camp and set up the twin beds!
