So....NO alcohol for me
NOPE i'm not pregnant. BUT i'm 99% sure i have some sort of new allergy to alcohol (or just one that i've been ignoring for a while).
No matter what type i drink: wine, tequila, rum, etc i get this horrible allergic reaction. My nose gets all runny, my throat gets scratchy, i start to wheeze and cough, and it feels like my throat is closing up on me. wonderful. just wonderful.
I researched it and it seems it is possible to have an "intolerance to alcohol" which is usually to some things that come out in the distillation process of all alcohol, and my symptoms pretty much match it. So for now, until i have time to see the allergist, i'm not drinking.
I'm actually really bummed. I don't even drink alot, but on the weekends i like to have a few glasses of wine to relax...and now...ill have to drink juice or something annoying. no wine, no margaritas. GOD!

ooh that sucks! I've only been pregnant for 2 months and I must say I do miss having a glass of wine with dinner, or if we're out with friends it kind of sucks being the only one drinking.
but think of all the money you'll save not ordering beer, and you'll save on calories too, that's what I tell myself :-)
