what do you recomend? deff do not want to to the pill .. have been looking into the IMPLANON && im a bit skeptical about trying anything else..
do not want to get pregnant anytime soon.. EeeeK!!!
Re: LET'S TALK BIRTHCONTROL
No, i did not. is the only diff that u dont have to take it everyday?
so now im leaning more towards ParaGard IUD. i jst hate that i have to do a "self ck" every month. how annoying is tht?
EEeKkk!! marking this option off. which, did seem like an easy option. the fact tht i jst goes in your arm .. dont have to remind myself everyday, evey 3months.. self ck up. nothing up my vajayjay.. i guess everything has a side effect. the only thing i hate about (well, heard) the IUD is that you get heavier periods & back pain..
Are you breastfeeding? If so, that limits what you're able to use. But if you don't want to take a pill everyday and can't handle putting something in your vagina, I'd suggest looking into the Mirena IUD. It's the IUD with hormones, so your periods should be lighter/less painful on it as well....and you are covered for 5 years.
not yelling.. sorry..
no, i am not breasfeeding. Mirena =hormones, lighter/less painful periods ParaGard= no hormones, heavier/painful periods.
not opposed to hormones, i honestly jst want something w/ less side effects.
Question: if i had abnormal periods (will skip a month or so) after having a baby will it go back to normal or will it stay the same way ?
could you feel that you had the iUD in you.. could ur FI feel it?
I was on Nuva Ring and hated it. My BFF also was on it and now has lovely little Madison to play with
My problems with it: I was moody (read: I was a Flaming B!tch from Hell), generally an unhappy/depressed person, I could feel it (my girl is a little small), and SO had it come out a few times during sex.
I don't like being an unhappy person so I got rid of it. I immediately felt better.
Further proof that every woman is different, and the only way to find what works for you is by trying different things. No one here can tell you what you'll like best.
Ive tried pills- hated them, I was always always sick, especially when I forgot to take it for one day.
The ring was uncomfortable- My husband could feel it and it even came out once (and the doctor had put it in, so I know it was inserted properly)
I have never tried the implantation in the arm, anything like mirena or the shot. I dont like the idea of anything I cant take out of my body myself.
I am currently on the patch. I love it. It has worked best for me. I dont forget to change it, since it only has to be changed once a week. I was sick for a while, but that happens for me with all types for at least a week. Also, I gained no weight. I have been on it for 4 months. I weighed 133 when I started, and 130 after 4 months.
When I tell people im on the patch, I hear that its bad for you, but i have had no negative side affects
This is also my experience with the Ring. It was great... until it made me a crazy raging b!tch. I also packed on about 15 lbs in the first month that do not want to go away now. My best friend was also on it and it worked well at first, but she had to stop, it was constantly giving her infections.
