Tell me something good...
... tell me that you love me, yeah! ??
Anyway, my weekend sucked, with a capital S. I could use some cheering up, if anyone has something positive to offer. Otherwise my work could suffer and I might lose my Job.... JK, but not really.
Hearts in advance!

Re: Tell me something good...
I looooooove youuuuuuu! And I loooooove my Melville Candies lollipop! Nom nom nom.
Also - know how to told you I was ouching over Finn's food? I just checked my bank account and my commission check went in. So we're all good now. WHEW.
Hang in there my dear... Something Good= You are a wonderful harding working Mommy. I just read you are checking out a cheaper daycare; yay for saving money!
My something good is Nate is babbling so much and it warms my heart. He says "Hi, hi, hi, hi-ya" I know it's not really him being a genius and greeting me with "Hi" but it's still so darn cute!
I like to cheer people up in the form of You Tube. (If you hate cats though, then nevermind. And Jill may not want to watch this.)

Stinking adorable! My cat does this on my belly, but whenever I try to get her to walk on my back she refuses. humf
My something good: I made killer strawberry mojitos yesterday. If it were acceptable to drink at 10:30 am.... at an elementary school.... I'd be having another one right now. Yay strawberry season!
That sounds amazing. Recipe?

Waaaaaaaaant! I would kill for a mojito (strawberry or any flavor) right now.
I got fresh locally grown strawberries and chopped them up in tiny pieces added a pack of splenda and let them sit in tupperware over night to get nice and syrupy. I just mixed that with fresh mint, rum, and diet sprite. You can use club soda and make a simple syrup, but the diet sprite was more waistline friendly and super yummy.
Fantastic.
Yeah, I had a Pineapple Mojito at brunch yesterday, and now I'm back on my summertime mojito kick!
Thanks!

First, OMG, strawberry mojitos sound so good. Usually, I don't like mojitos, because I don't like mint but strawberry - I'd be all over that.
One of my cats also kneads my stomach. Then both of them knead soft things like blankets, coats, clothes, etc. I've read theories that say it's because they're just content but also ones that say only cats who were taken away from their moms too soon? What do you guys think?
Both of my girls are rescues so they support the theory of missing their mom.
Lots of good things for you (ok, and me too):
1. ordering fun things for the bedroom from Slumber Parties (she ships quick!)
2. Memorial Day (and 3 day weekend) are just around the corner.
3. I'm trying a new sangria recipe this weekend that sounds fantastic. I'll share
1) yeahhhh.... I gotta get an order together!
2) Yay!!! Though that means I gotta figure out daycare for that week... >_<
3) Yes please!

'preciate the heads up, lady!
We made some awesome margaritas on Saturday. I was probably drunker than I've ever been, ever.
Recipe is very simple:
1.5 oz tequila (we used Patron silver)
1 oz Cointreau, triple sec or orange juice
1.5 oz lime juice
1tsp agave syrup
They were very delicious, and very potent.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Since we're talking summer drinks, I tried the Skinnygirl Margarita the other night and it's pretty good. Not super lo-cal tho (think it's 100 calories for 4 oz, roughly the same as white wine) and not cheap ($16 for a 750ml bottle), but psychologically, I am telling myself it's worth the money.
And khart, that was hilarious.
I do love how alcohol makes everything all better. ?
Lush Niners FTW! ;D

I have these at home and I haven't opened it yet!
They're really low proof (30 or so) and so I think I'll be adding shots to mine...
Stand up for something you believe in.
lol. I had my first martini post baby and I was so tipsy. Kev was laughing so hard at me.
:Blog:
haha, thats exactly how I was... I'm still working my tolerance back up 7 months later!

I tend to like my margaritas on the weak side, so these were not quite sweet enough for me.
Yeah...I won't be adding shots to my drinks. A friend of mine has a margarita machine and two summers ago I brought over a bottle of the Cuervo margaritas with the tequila in it. I was too hammered to drive home and I ended up puking in her bathroom sink (yeah, a proud moment for me). Come to find out last year...she didn't know that the bottle I brought had the tequila already in it, so she was adding tequila to it.
I'm surprised I can drink margaritas today. I have aversions to food but not tequila. Thankfully.
