Poll: Casey Anthony Guilty or Not-Guilty?

Totally judging from the crappy news reports, no scientific evidence to back up claims here, what do you think?

Guilty or Not Guilty?

Re: Poll: Casey Anthony Guilty or Not-Guilty?

  • Guilty.  It's just too weird.

  • I think she's guilty.  This is why.  I read a book about the case, and I know a lot of that is probably heresay, BUT...

    1. I dont think she killed her by herself.  I think something happened to Caylee and she was too scared to ask for help and as a result put her body in the back of her car and disposed of it in the woods.  She stayed with so many different people, and had different boyfriends etc, so who knows what really happened to her.

    2.  The main reasons I think she is guilty is because of all the lies she told.  Your daughter goes missing for over a month and you dont report it?  You make up a false babysitter?  You tell the cops you work at Universal, go so far as to WALK them into an office building at Universal, and then turn around and admit you really didnt work their?

    3. I think she was a neglectful parent and as a result her child ended up dead.  Rather than face up to it, she tried to concoct a story.  The smell was so bad in the trunk their is NO way it was rotting pizza.  Also, you were out PARTYING during the time you claim you had no idea where your child was????  Bizarre.

  • Guilty.  Of many things.  Probably major psychiatric issues as contributing factors.

  • Guilty... how do you not see your child for 30 days and not say anything to anyone and just continue on with your life (going out, etc.)  Even if she was with a babysitter, don't you think after 30 days of not seeing here there might be an issue?

  • Guilty.  For sure.

I find it so heartbreaking that someone could harm a 3 year old in that way.  Especially now that I am a parent.  Poor Caylee, she didn't deserve to die and be dumped in the woods :(

  • Guilty.  There are too many weird things going on, like her brother all of a sudden not believing her about the whole thing, dad trying to commit suicide, etc.
  • I lived in Massachusetts in 2008, so the news coverage I got was probably considerably less than down here.  I don't know a lot of details of the case, but remember thinking she couldn't be an innocent woman - because how could an innocent woman remain so calm when here child was missing.

  • GUILTY! I'm not a mom but I have 2 very adorable niece and a god daughter if I'm babysitting and if for one moment I lose sight on them I would go ballistic and look for them right away. Caylee was gone for 30 days and it didnt even phase her, not to mention she never show any emotion when she shows up in court, some might say she's become numb but can you imagine losing a child and being blamed for it, if you didnt do it wouldnt you show so much anger and pain?

Guilty as hell, and this is all the evidence needed.

  • I think she is guilty. It's not so much the fact that she didn't seem crazy with grief, but rather the strange and unnecessary lying.  Well, the lying and the fact that she didn't report it for a month. There is just no way a mother who is not on a 30-day heroine binge could not recognize, report, and show some anxiety over her missing child for that period of time.
  • Guilty! I would freak out if my dog went missing for 30 minutes, let alone Malia going missing for a second!! She didnt act alone, but definitely guilty nontheless.
