pool poll
we have access to a pool in our townhome community but i've actually never gone to it in almost 8 years. h never wants to go on the weekends. i'd feel more comfortable going during the week because it would be less crowded, but i guess i think it wouldn't be very relaxing. i figure there are a million kids there (it's only open in the summer when school is out) and i think i would feel guilty if i wasn't working. for some reason i feel bored just laying there, especially if there isn't someone else with me.

is it a community pool or is it a pool in the backyard of a home? both...we have one here at the condo complex and then also at my dad's house. when we move, we plan to join the community pool.

how long do you go for? depends...i dont last super long when it's super hot. i get bored easily...but if the book is good, i'll hang for a while.

do you go by yourself? I wont to J's mawmaw's. I don't know why. I just don't want to feel like I am putting her out..? If other family is going, then I will go. In the apartment I went out a few times by myself, but got ooged out once when there was a sleezy lookin guy there and I stopped going. This was back when I was 20, tho and not scared of a bathing suit or (can you believe it) a bikini.
do you go in the pool, or do you just lay out? I don't lay out anymore. Back then, if I was alone at the pool, I would lay out for a while, then get in to cool off.
what do you do to entertain yourself? Back then, I read and listened to music. I was afraid to close my eyes in case I fell asleep since I was alone and didn't know anyone else around the pool.
how long do you go for? I prob spent a max of an hour out back then. It varies now.

how long do you go for? I used to go for about half an hour at a time if I didn't lay out. About an hour if I did.
We don't have a pool here in these apartments, but in our last ones we did. We only went there once, and I was surprised at how not cramped it was. There was like 1 family with a little baby there.
Maybe do a drive by or something like that to check it out and see how busy it really would be.
At the time we didn't have K, so there was 3 of us that swam and hung out a bit. I'd totally go with K this summer if we had a pool. H wants to take him to the beach.

what do you do to entertain yourself? When I'm laying out I read. When I'm in the pool I'm a child - I like to do handstands and flips. I also float and make H drag me around to see how long I can hold my breath (I swim under water and do the same thing too). I also have a snorkel and I will bust it out in the pool. H finds it embarrassing and entertaining all at the same time.
how long do you go for? I can hang at the pool for hours if I have food water. I guess anywhere from 2-6 hours.

When I lived in a complex that had a pool, I would go with DH in the evenings after dinner and sometimes on the weekends. I did go by myself. I often would just float around, lay out and read a magazine or book. I would chat on the phone.
do you have access to a pool in the summer? Not really right now. My dad and step mom belong to a community pool I use to be on their membership before we got married.

do you go by yourself? Yes I did. However I almost always ran into someone I knew. Also my stepmom goes practically daily with the kids.
do you go in the pool, or do you just lay out? If I was by myself. I'd lay out until I can't stand it anymore. Then I'd do laps for a while. If my little brother and sister where their I'd be in the pool with them the whole time.
