Our Baby Girl is here!
I know I'm late on this, but I haven't had internet at home in awhile and for some reason I can't post from my iphone 
Our baby girl, Charlotte was born on 4/30 weighing 8 lbs. Contractions started on 4/27, but were irregular and came on strong only at night for some reason. By the 29th I was so tired of dealing with them (& sleep deprived) I went to my doctor that morning, but was only 2 cm. So, my mom and I went to the mall, babies r us and had lunch. I had some bad back labor all day, but they were only coming every 30 min. That night they came on stronger.I just couldn't stand the pain anymore so, we headed to triage around midnight so they could decide if I should be admitted to l&d. I was dilated to a 3 and my back labor was still irregular. They had me walk for an hour and get checked. After walking, I was a 4! Thank god because by that time I was shaking and throwing up the back labor was so bad. They finally admitted me to l&d and by 5cm I got my epidural! After the epi everything went great. The weird thing is my contractions never came closer than 5 min apart. Four hours later I was able to push and after only 15 min of pushing she was here!!
They released us after 24 hrs and even though I had a 3rd degree tear recovery has been a lot easier than I thought. Baby weight is already gone and she is BF-ing really well. Charlotte is such a sweet baby, she barely even fussed when she was born. I just can't believe she is already a week old already! Can't she just stay like this forever?
