  I actually don't think it flows to well with your last name. I think it's a good name but it doesn't flow well. I liked the names you had mentioned a while back. Those sounded better to me.

  Right that's what I'm saying. I like the first name... but not with my last name. I was just wondering if I'm over thinking it or if the first name/last name combo sounds to "matchy" because I really like Roman.

  I agree with PPs.  I don't think it goes well with your last name.  I do think it sounds too "matchy" but that kind of thing is my big name hangup.  I threw out a couple of names I really liked because I thought they sounded too "matchy" with our last name - Dylan is the one that stands out to me.

  Roman YourLastName has a bit of a repetitive sound to it, but I think it still flows okay.

  Good goin' Alicia Silverstone. That's quite the name.

  Roman YourLastName does seem matchy, but I still kinda like it. I can see it working.

  I personally think the name with your last name is adorable...and different but not in a bad way. In a way that he won't have the same name as everyone else in the class but the teachers won't be talking crap in the lounge about it either. Does that make sense? Lol

  Too bad I don't have my maiden name anymore cause that would sound way better Oh well, I think I'm going to have to veto it just because I don't think I like the names together.

  We have friends and their kid's name is Cal Roman. He was born in Naples (Italy) and they decided to pay homage to his birth (or nearby) locale. 

  I love the name. I married and I don't have the BEST last name... even though I am a hyphenated chick, I eventually got used to the last name.
