My GP recommended 2 ob/gyn's as I am considering switching. I want to stay with someone affiliated with White Plains Hospital (for when we start ttc) and I want a woman. The names she gave me are
Dr. Ainsworth in Scarsdale and
Dr. Mcgovern in White Plains
Does anyone have any experience, positive/negative with either doctor? And if you have other recs in that area I'd be happy to hear about them

Re: ob/gyn recs
I think Dr. Ainsworth is part of the westmed group and I can tell you that I do not like that group and am switching after my appt today.
Tessajd- whos the ob you love in Rockland?
Both of them are part of the westmed group (different locations). Can I ask, why you don't like them? You can PM me if you want.
I'm also considering going back to Dr. Bavaro whom I had liked in the past, but haven't been using.
I see Dr Bavaro in WP. She is pretty good IMO not as great as a Dr I had in the Bronx but I am not traveling down there for OB/GYN
And yea I hate waiting for my appt there. It takes WAY too long. It's ridiculous when she looks at me for what 5 minutes and leaves in a rush.
my read shelf:
Dr. Peter Simonson, who is affiliated with Good Sam. I chose him because he had great online reviews, and I know there are other nesties who love him as well. I am just started my second tri and am very pleased with his care.
