recommend your family dr/general practioner
I "lost" my doctor. I went early last year for a physical (could have been late 2009) but have not been back since. I called for a refill on a Rx last year but was told that my dr was no longer a part of the group of doctors so I would need to make an appointment with one of the others to get a refill. Well...the reason I went to my dr was b/c I didn't like the other doctors in the group. Does anyone have any recommendations? I live in NKY but I am not opposed to driving far into OH. I would prefer a female dr. My old dr. would never send me for unnecessary tests and, unlike the other drs. in the group, would not let me diagnose myself. I considered going to another dr in the group just b/c I rarely get sick but they now want everyone to pay a yearly "membership fee" to continue seeing their docs. Obviously this fee is not covered by insurance and their "customer service" was not the best.... (I have easily waited over an hour AFTER my appt time to see a dr)
