  • I love love love Sabrina's but if you're going for brunch you should plan on going really early or waiting at least an hour, probably more...  It is delicious though.

I've never been to Jack's Firehouse but the menu looks good.  I've walked by it a few times in the summer on the weekend and there's usually a nice crowd there.

We went to Sabrinas and OMG, deliciousness.   Every single thing we had was to die for.
  • Nice! My fave brunch spot in the city, hands down. The food is super super good!  What did you have?

DH had the "moms special breakfast" of the day which were two blueberry biscuits with scrambled eggs and an awesome cheesey asparagus sort of gravy on top (and some other fancier stuff, that I don't quite recall).  My mom and I split the special stuffed french toast - which for Mothers day was an insane pistachio, shortbread cookie, marachino cherry, cream cheese stuffed french toast.  It was pretty much a dessert, not a breakfast and it was INSANELY good - I may or may not have had dreams about it last night...   We also had a side of polenta fries, because we had heard they were awesome, which they were (a little spicy for my taste though).

We browsed the dinner menu before we left and saw some things that caught our eye (stuffed meatballs? yes please), so we are planning a trip back for dinner sometime soon.
