I love me some brunch but after work drinks/happy hour sounds good too! Or will that alienate those who are nursing and/or pregnant?

Finally! A Married Bio!!
I'm thinking a nice brunch on the weekend would do us good...being I don't work in the city. =/ Is that ok? I'm dying to go back to Essex (I know you are all probably tired of it). Anyone interested in it? I can do pretty much any weekend this month except May 29th, so please feel free to throw in dates you are available.
I want to GTG! May won't work for me though, the rest of the weekends are packed up. June anyone?
How about we do a pub this time? Or something in Union Square? Or a pub near Union Square????? Beer for breakfast!
I always recommend Old Town near Union Square when no other suggestions arise. I always have people tell me what a good choice it is, even by those who don't normally compliment me on such.
May is a bad scene for me, too. I know that June 12 is out for me, and so is whatever day Father's Day is, but other than that, June is better than May.
And I am up for wherever, I have no real preferences.

I can do weekends now - though Im doing summer classes, they are only Monday thru Thursday. Hooray.
No offense, but I can't do beer any time of the day, never the less breakfast...yuck!
Ok, so brunch is not a good idea? I prefer a weekend, but if you all want to get together during the week, we can do a seperate GTG. Do pubs do brunch? lol

LOLLLL it was a joke. You guys meet in the middle of the day for brunch anyway. Actually pubs do very good breakfast and reasonably priced, unlike some other brunch places. My friend has been taking me to various pubs lately and while at first I was eh about it, I realized that it's nice. You don't have to have beer! They of course do the typical mimosa/bloody mary/whatever other brunch drink either included or for a special deal with brunch.
OHHHH the famous GTG's I've been hearing about. So I'm EXTREMELY partial to this place (butI don't think they have Happy Hour specials) called Anfora in the West Village (sister spot of Dell'Anima). Delicious drinks (specialty and extensive wine list) and small bites (of the Italian variety). Parentheses aside, it's one of my favorite spots in all of NY.
