Restaurant Recs in/near Chaska
I am brand new to Chaska (just moved in Saturday) and need to know where to go for dinner! We'll be taking our 1 & 3 year olds this time, but I'll also take recommendations for a fun, date-night place!
Re: Restaurant Recs in/near Chaska
Hello! I also live in Chaska
What brings you and your family here?
There are many, many chain restaurants.
Culver's is 'fast food'. It's not quite like McDonald's but similar atmosphere. They have excellent custard, it's ice cream, but better. Your kids will love it! They get a free custard with kids meal purchases. (I may be a little bias, I worked at a Culver's in High School)
Ruby Tuesday's has a really great fresh salad bar. Every time we've been there, it's been delicious. They have a $5 drink menu too! The service has always been really good.
Dairy Queen
If you like Chinese restaurants, there are a few.
SuperBuffet is decently priced with lots of variety.
China Pagoda has excellent takeout. They also have a small buffet on Fridays and Saturdays. For my Husband and I it's $19.95 for the buffet and water to drink.
Rising Dragon is really good too. They have free delivery with a $15 min order.
There is a Mexican restaurant off of Highway 41 and 2nd street I believe. I don't know the name of it, it's fairly new.
Cuzzy's Brickhouse is also fairly new. It has typical Bar & Grill food--burgers, pizza, salads etc. Their pepperoni soup is fantastic. It sounds odd, but really, it's awesome.
There is a McDonald's off of Chaska Blvd downtown.
Cy's Bar & Grill is similar to Cuzzy's I assume. I've never been there though.
Heartbreakers is yet again, a Bar & Grill. I've never been there either. I've seen coupons for htem in the local paper though.
We also have a Dominoes, Papa Murphy's and a Papa John's if you're in the mood for pizza delivery or takeout.
....that should get you started!
Any other Chaska questions? My DH and I have lived there for 3 yrs and my DH was born and raised in Chaska.

Thanks so much! We will check out the park soon!
Hmmm... I've only been to CA Nails up by Rainbow, it's actually more diagonally from the Caribou that's up there. They've always been super nice and the pedicures feel awesome! The girl I've seen there is Jenny. Her english is pretty good, she's very friendly.

on the south end there's a little diner, I can't remember the name, maybe it's in the hotel? Across the street from some apartment buildings, right before you go over the bridge to get to 169. It's quite good, with excellent grilled cheese and malts.
Also, Lion's Tap isn't very far and has excellent burgers.
