Anyone have any idea how much it would be...
...to replace siding and a roof? We're in the process of buying a house in Sterling, but the sellers apparently tried to DIY the roof and siding, but weren't very good at it. They stapled the siding to the foam backing, meaning that it's not actually attached to the house, and the shingles were installed incorrectly. We're going to ask them for money to fix it, since we suspect if we asked them to do it they'd just DIY it again. The house itself is about 2000 sq ft, with a detached garage that's probably about 1000 sq ft, with a fairly typical triangular roof. Anyone have any recommendations, as well? We need to get an estimate this week so that we know how much to ask for.
