How soon after sending in a resume for a job should I call/e-mail to follow up? Or is it not necessary to do so?
For example, I applied for a job last week, and e-mailed a professor that works at this same center for some advice/information at the same time. She forwarded my e-mail to the person hiring a few days later (last Thursday). Should I wait until Thursday (one week later) or longer than that to contact her directly? I don't want to be obnoxious but I do want to make sure she notices my resume.
Thanks ladies!
