How often do you put gas in your car? I have a very short commute, so sometimes I can get away with filling up every other week
Do you fill it up every time, or do you put in a certain dollar amount? It depends. I try to fill it up on payday, even if I only have half a tank left, to make sure I have enough gas to last me at least the next week or so. Sometimes, when I do extra driving and go beyond that full bi-weekly tank, I'll fill up $10 at a time, as needed, to hold me off until next payday.

Do you fill it up every time, or do you put in a certain dollar amount? - I fill up every time, usually on payday. The only exception would be if we took a trip that used up all my gas and I just needed enough to get me through to the next payday.

How often do you put gas in your car? Luckily we both have very close commutes, we each only fill up like once every two weeks. If either of us do extra driving for work (like him driving down to the Springs for a job site), we get mileage from work that more than makes up for it.

I haven't filled our tanks since the gas hit this high, last time it was still at $4.04, but our Camry is about $67 and our MDX is about $88.

The Camry gets gas every week since it's always driven, and the MDX maybe about every two weeks or week and a half depending on how often we carpool or drive it out somewhere.

ETA: The MDX gets premium or whatever is the highest octane, so that's why it costs more.

*I used to let my tank go until the gas light came on. Then one day, my car started bucking really badly. Turns out that letting it run so low all the time got all this build up in my fuel filter/bottom of my fuel tank and the gas couldnt get through it. So now, I fill up at 1/4 tank.

I used to spend 300- 550 a month on gas when I had an SUV. I drive 85 mi roundtrip to work, plus I drive for my job. I also was taking a class in Boston once a week, and see my parents once a month which is about 150 mi roundtrip. I do get some mileage back from work, but don't think it makes up for the miles I put on my car.
