T&P please
We just found out that Tim's grandfather might have pancreatic cancer. He had an appt yesterday and they found spots that are suspicious and he has another appt tomorrow to get them looked at (and I assume biopsied - not sure, I'm getting all this info third hand from Tim).
I know nothing is certain yet, but I'm just so sad for Tim (and the whole family). His grandfather is like the head of their huge Italian family and it would be devastating if something happened to him.
They don't know about the baby yet but Tim is now planning on going to see them on Saturday to give them some good news.
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

I know first hand how hard it is for the patriarch of a huge Italian family to get sick/pass away. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

This, my family just went through it at the end of October. T's and P's to you, Tim, and the rest of the family. I hope that your news will be something happy and positive that they can focus on!
Me too, this was our situation when I was pregnant, I pray that Tim's Grandpa lives to see his great grandbaby and that he makes a full recovery.

2012 Reading Challenge
thanks so much ladies.
Tim just got home from seeing them (his mom told him he should go today instead of waiting for the weekend and they are on his way home from work). They are THRILLED about the baby and I'm hoping it helps distract them a little from everything else going on. They've been hinting at wanting great grandchildren (5 of their grandchildren are married), and Tim said they were practically jumping out of their seats.
His biopsy is tomorrow but they likely won't hear anything until Monday, so it's all a waiting game. I'll definitely keep you all updated.
