Tuesday, all day.

Suck.

Last night I planted some bulbs that looked hinky, so hoping they grow. Day lillys. Then I planted sunshine gairdilla at the end of the bed. I am waiting on delivery of three more day lilly bulbs, then I'm done in that front bed. It's looking good. I just need to plant impatiens and mulch the bed under the tree. I also put in my seeds for basil, parsley, cilantro and onions last night. My mint is growing like mad and my chives are up too. I probably have them in a container that's too small. Oh well.

MFD made chicken tacos for dinner. We watched DVR of Family Guy, then I watched DVR of Criminal Minds and Vampire Diaries. I was in bed reading around 9:30.

I have to meet some PR peeps who worked on Relay for me this year for lunch at Qdoba. I don't feel like it. I will also photograph Flat Gracie at Love Park and with City Hall. I will have her in the mail by Friday.

My desk is currently under 8963 pieces of paper.

Re: Tuesday, all day.

  • stephanie, i am so jealous of your gardening.  i want to buy a house so we can have a garden. at our condo we always have a few large pots of tomatoes and basil, but that is it :(

explored toronto more last night, and i must say, I LOVE THIS CITY.  it is now my favorite city in the world.  i want someone i know to move here so i can come visit more :) working on my sister now...

although i love this city, i want to be home.  done traveling, relaxing with my man, doing spring stuff.  running regularly and eating well.  after so many trips the last few weeks, my boss feels the same way.  we are going to the airport a few hours early to try to get an earlier flight home on standby.  wish us luck!

  • I'm working from home today because I feel like assface. Sore throat, headache, chills.

I was super unproductive last night. H and I sat on the couch all evening and watched TV. We went to bed very early, too (930!) and somehow I'm STILL tired.

This week will be a very boring week for us. No soccer, no dance lessons, no dog training. I'm glad, I need a break.

(An unmatched left parenthesis creates an unresolved tension that will stay with you all day.

  • Yesterday was slow at work, I couldn't believe it but relished the moment. I even left early and worked from home the rest of the day. Today, working from home. Took Allie Earp on a short walk this morning (didn't feel like running because AF wipes me out) and we'll go for another walk or run this evening. I suppose I can start getting dinner menus and grocery list together, tomorrow is my payday and we're almost out of staple items.

  • I'm jealous of the gardening, too!  We have a tiny yard and I suppose the apartment people might let us plant, but it doesn't seem worth it considering all of the people who tramp through our yard on a regular basis.

Today is a good day so far!  My overnight experiment didn't work, which sucks, but I'm (hopefully) fixing it and it feels good to be busy and actually doing something with my hands.  Also, my foot petals order arrived last night (thanks Jessie!!!) and I am now wearing a pair of flats that I haven't worn in three years, at least.  Woot!

  • Good Morning! Last night after the gym workout, I was a hot mess, I watered the garden and noticed a tiny sprout coming from the beans so I got really excited. I really need to pull up the bushes in the front of the house and plant flowers before too much longer.

I cooked spaghetti for Jeremy while he was out playing tennis and salmon and veggies for me. I'm trying to do no/low carbs for the next couple weeks to help this weightloss and so I can fit in that dress. ha

I woke up late and had to rush to a meeting that lasted 10 minutes because the mom had a doctor's appointment. Whatever. Now I'm getting ready for my 11:30 meeting for a kid who I've seen once, yes ONCE, since January 2010. Mom says she's coming but I'm skeptical since she hasn't brought the kid any this year. Other than that, just finishing up paperwork and planning my end of the year party for my speech kids for the next 3 days (gotta love having 3 schools, right?).

So I apparently need to put an annoucment at working saying "No, Christine is not getting fat/drinking way too much. I'm just pregnant!" One of the women I work with who knows keeps saying I look pregnant. I hope this does not mean I am going to be huge. I don;t feel like I am eating terrible. I am indulging a little more than I normally would but I am also not drinking so who knows.

Besides that not too much is going on. Waiting to find out the Bruins/Lightning schedule so hopfully we can make a game but with the new restaurant I'm not sure if I will be seeing Greg the next couple weeks/months let alone being able to go to a game.

Looking forward to not doing much of anything tonight, maybe trying to straighten up the house

Me, too! I feel like I've been waiting forever. I doubt I'll be able to convince H to get tickets though. They start at $120 ea at Boston. And the only times we'd be able to go are if the games are in Boston next Fri or Sat.

  • Morning!  On tap today is finishing my last take-home paper and that's IT for law school! Whoop!! graduation in 10 days!!

Last night DH and I went out with his evil-monster mother for mother's day.  I had to listen to her talk about every single thing they have paid for for SIL's wedding coming up in July (pretty much everything).  These are the same people who made us give BACK the wedding gift they gave us because we wouldn't visit her more, so sorry I am a law student and your son is a freakin doctor and we don't have time for each other let alone YOU. Made me want to guage her eyes out.

    end vent.

  • Hello Tuesday.  Last night I finished my freakin online traffic school by 9 pm, so just in time.  It was awful and took forever!  That's pretty much all I did last night.

Not much to do today, perhaps more laundry and watch Glee.  My co-worker isn't here yet and I'm really hoping he calls in sick so it will be nice and quiet in the office today.

Steph- Jealous of all your gardening too

    Angie- Yay for graduation

Em- Good job with the workout and GL with the new diet

Xtine- I can't believe your co-worker would say that!  In the words of Stephanie Tanner (Full House) How rude!

This is the good thing about living in Tampa you can get playof tickets CHEAP! In 2008 I think we got game 7 ALCS Sox/Ray tickets for like $60 ea.

However, with the restaurant I think they know someone who will be able to give us free tickets. I don't really care where I sit as long as I am in the building.

  • hey all. I was wanting to have a day off today, but took a job anyway. They are going to be few and far between (or none) once school is out, so I better make hay while the sun shines. Already have a job set for tmw and possibly Friday. (waitress on Thurs/Fri night/Sat.)

I don't think I posted yesterday besides on the name game late last night, so quick recap. Had an amazing Sunday (even though I am not a mother) and got a nap as well as planted my potatoes and onions in the garden. Glad I am not the only one planting this time of year. :) Hopefully I'll get the rest, seeds and all, in this weekend. Went to visit my mom yesterday to give her the card I made. Glad that's over with.

Am a little sad and anxious that H has to go all the way to Oregon for work this coming weekend. I HATE sleeping alone and the dogs act all dumb when Daddy doesn't come home on time. He'll be gone from Thurs to Tues. *sigh* I should be able to stay busy with all the projects I would like to finish though. Hoping to etch etch a set of baking dishes for my cousin and his FI for thier wedding at the end of the month. Excited to send them something I would've love to receive myself. :)

  • Angie - a POX on your monster in law. POX. Grrrrrrrrr.

I love how flowers look and being able to pick some herbs from the yard, but I detest weeding.

    Fourth Anniversary

Angie - holy crap, your MIL made you gift back her gift?  Unbelievable!  And completely rude.  And yay for graduation!  I was just telling H that I cannot believe I graduated 5 years ago, it feels like maybe 2.  Big Smile

I'm WFH this morning because I feel terrible and can't keep anything down.  And I feel badly complaining about this when there are several other pg ladies on here.  Aspersia and Xtine, are you not feeling sick?  I feel like I'm really dropping the ball at work, which sucks.

Oh there were a couple weeks i was feeling like crap!  I felt great for like 2 weeks. Now it's a day to day, hour by hour kinda thing. I have notices for me if I don't eat thats when I get really sick. Thursday I worked late and a parent picked up their children late so I didn't get home till 7pm which I normally have eaten. We went to dinner but it was to late I felt so sick.

I'm trying really hard not to complain about being sick. Don't feel bad Mush I am right there with you a lot of the time

  • Steph M - So jealous of your green thumb.  We have the space, but I kill almost everything I try to grow.

Xtine - I went through that too.  People need to mind their own f'n business.  It helps to come up with a few standard smart-ass remarks.  Makes the busy bodies back off real quick.

Angie - She made you give it back?  WTF.  Ditto Stephanie Tanner.

Had a great day on Sunday at the Camden Aquarium with K and Baby Q.  (All the IL's were there too, but pfft, I can ignore them.)  Hard to believe the munchkin is almost a month old!

Yesterday, K worked on his shed.  Can't wait until that project is done so he has more free time in the evenings to spend with me and the little man.  At least tomorrow is his birthday so we'll get to spend the evening together.  I still need to get his birthday present, though.  Which means I need to come up with an idea...

Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker For two people in a marriage to live together day after day is unquestionably the one miracle the Vatican has overlooked. PersonalMilestone
  • Steph - I really do hate her - thanks for joining in!!

Mush - She really did.  She is completely crazy but she went really nuts after the wedding (during my finals no less) that we weren't giving her enough attention (after she gave us a gift and everying) then her husband got involved emailing and calling us (harassment charge much?) Then demanded back the gift they gave us.  Now I have to listen to her tell me how she's paid for SIL's dress, flowers, invites, favors, postage, cake, and she's taking her to pick out a rehersal dinner dress.  Then I have to listen to SIL *** about how hard it is to plan a wedding - it can't be that hard when you 1) don't have a job (she got laid off in March and decided to take time off to plan her wedding) and 2) mommy is following you around with a credit card.

wow.  I have a lot of venting today.

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I'd be venting too. They sound like complete buttholes. HATE. I am having MIL and SIL issues myself, so what else is new on that front. I am always having them.

Susie, 1 month already? Holy shitskies. It doesn't seem that long.

Sorry for the PG ladies with the queasies. I think that's dreadful.

I had a soft serve vanilla cone and two soft pretzels for lunch to make my PMS shut up. I have been a hateful troll this week.
