Update
Hi everyone...just wanted to give a quick update as to what's going on and why I've been MIA.
To make a long story short DS was diagnosed with discitis last Tuesday and was in the hospital since that night to yesterday morning. Luckily it's completely treatable and leaves no lasting side-effects. Given his symptoms it's probably the best thing he could have been diagnosed with. It's definitely been the focus for us since we got back from Ireland. We're just really happy and thankful that it was figured out and that he's on his way to a full recovery.
