How was your trip? How did your DH like everything? What was the favorite place you visited?  :D

  • It was wondeful!  Thanks for asking.  B loved Paris, but wished we'd been able to spend more than 4 days there.  He already wants to go back.  He was just so so on Bavaria.  I think part of that had to do with a "sausage incident".  He ordered blood sausage by mistake and actually ate a bit of it.  After that, he complained about German food semi-often.  He also really liked Venice.

I also loved Venice.  I wasn't expecting to love it, since I feel like so many people I've talked to have disliked it or just felt so-so on it.  I have to admit though that I was somewhat disapointed in our time we spent on Murano.  I expected there to be lots of unique glass shops, but instead, it was overly touristy and not a lot of great stuff.

  • Yikes blood sausage. I'm of Polish Heritage and my Dad loves blood sausage. It gives me the chills. Yuk. I wouldn't have been very happy had I ordered that either.

I'm glad you guys had a great trip. I haven't been to Venice yet but it's on my list.
