  • Just getting a little technical, anyone who uses a duvet, has some kind of conforter inside...just sayin.

We use a duvet w/down comforter inside.  We use an all season comforter so we don't have to switch it out.

Ok sassy. I meant duvet cover as opposed to just a comforter :)

  • We have a duvet. I actually just took it off this morning to take it to get dry cleaned.

Is this because of the comforter shifting inside? I got those little corner clip things, they are magic!

  • Duvet w/down alternative comforter inside in the fall/winter, and a quilt in the spring/summer.

So I voted something else ... since I use both :)

  • I think duvets look so nice and it seems have so many more options. But even with the clips, it seems like it's always bunched up. Like the comforter is never smooth inside the duvet.

    So....I stick with comforters.

  • comforters alone gross me out. i feel like with the duvet it stays cleaner longer.  we're a duvet family.

I use those corner clips and they are helpful....but I feel like the comforter still has a tendency to shift towards the foot of the bed.

Hmm, I have one on each corner of the comforter/duvet clipping them together and I don't have this problem. It would drive me crazy if I did.

These are the kind I have, circle and the other part pokes through it. They never come off:

yes, that is the problem. i have seen some duvets i really like lately though so if i find one i would be more likely to try it now with the clips. thanks for the heads up.
